Newborn Pics? I think not…

So I had the pleasure of finally meeting my 10 day old niece, since I had my camera like I always do, I decided to try my hand at some newborn pictures.. I’ve done only 1 session ever, so i figured this would be perfect. Mommy fed her, the house was warm and still Little Miss Jasylah didn’t want to sleep. I literately got like 3 good pictures of her and only 1 was of her sleeping.  So here are the first 2 pictures I have edited…

She was wide awake and very stubborn

_MG_0075This one was by luck, because literately as soon as i snapped it she woke up.  She’s definitely a diva.

Project 52 anyone?

Has anyone heard of Project 52? This is my first year doing it and it was developed by Sarah Cornish of  My four hens photography. Basically every week a new theme is posted on the Blog, typically sunday morning. You have until the following Sunday to submit what you think best represents that theme. The purpose of our project is to keep shooting and be inspired… We are on week 4 of 52. Here are pictures thus far:

_MG_0011Week 1/52- Reflection (Myself in the mirror)

_MG_0041Week 2/52 – Imperfection (my dog stuck his tongue out)

_MG_0045Week 3/52- Inside (my anxiety medicine)

JoyWeek 4/52- Joy (spelling joy with my kids)

Those are my photos so far for each theme, I got real personal with week 3. Those pills are my anxiety medicine. I wanted to let my readers INSIDE my struggle. Panic disorder is a type of anxiety disorder in which you have repeated attacks of intense fear that something bad will happen. A person with panic disorder often lives in fear of another attack, and may be afraid to be alone or far from medical help.

A panic attack begins suddenly, and most often peaks within 10 to 20 minutes. Some symptoms continue for an hour or more. A panic attack may be mistaken for a heart attack. I get chest pains, Palpitations, fast heart rate, Numbness and tingling in the hands, feet, and sometimes my face. I get this feeling of overwhelm that i begin to shake.. It’s something I live with and have lived with for several years. When they come, they control my life.. It’s something I hate to admit but it’s the truth..

You’re more then welcome to take a look at My Four Hens Photography page so you can learn more about project 52. I’ve been having so much fun taking pictures, and thinking outside the box.  Thanks for stopping by..
